- 1Consumers should immediately stop using and shut off the recalled product and contact Research Products Corporation to receive a free electrode wire repair kit and assistance with identifying a qualified contractor to schedule an appointment for a free replacement of their electrode connector wires.
- 2For more information, consumers can contact Research Products Corporation by telephone at 1-888-742-2401 from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m ET Monday through Friday or visit the company website at rpcrecall.com/steamhumidifier or at researchproducts.com and click on “Recall Information” at the top of the page for more information.
- 3Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Research Products Corporation.
- 4Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
- 5Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
