What you should do
- 1Consumers should immediately stop using bicycles with this stem and bring the bicycle to an authorized retailer to determine if the stem is subject to this recall.
- 2Recalled stems will be replaced free of charge.
- 3For more information, consumers can contact Shimano by telephone toll-free at 1-877-377-5211, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST) Monday to Friday, or visit the PRO Bikegear website.
- 4Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Shimano North America Holding.
- 5Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
